Web Forms

Mi-Forms version 8 (Fall 2009 release) also provides web-browser-based forms for Mi-Co’s leading electronic forms solutions.

Standard keyboard field types are supported directly from the design. Text fields can be filled via typing and checkbox groups can be checked via mouse click. Validation rules are displayed on the right side of the form filling interface and indicate what fields still need to be filled and any other conditions that must be satisfied before a data record can be created (e.g., range checks, consistency checks).

At this point, fields with validation rules are highlighted and the list on the right side is updated to indicate the remaining errors.

The flexibility of Mi-Co’s Mi-Forms technology can be deployed with industry standard Microsoft Sharepoint technology, while enabling even more efficiency in workflow automation and data gathering. Microsoft Sharepoint provides workflow, approval routing, and content management components out of the box, as do other competing technologies, which also integrate with Mi-Forms.

Our current technology allows for the basic filling of forms and reviewing of data including audit trails through web browsers. Forms can be completed online or offline based on need. 

Forms can be deployed in standard web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome and Opera either natively or through the use of plug-ins. This will have the effect of increasing compatibility with non-Microsoft operating systems such as Apple’s OSX, and Linux. Our software will be extended to allow for the same flexibility of data capture that is available via rich client to be available through a hosted solution run through these browsers.
